Melissa H. Moore is a general-practice attorney and currently practices in the areas of family law, estate planning,
probate, and criminal law. Melissa has been with the Chamberlain Law Firm since She was born in
Spartanburg, South Carolina and is a United States Air Force veteran. She attended the University of South
Carolina Upstate and received her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Criminal
Justice. After graduating she went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the Charlotte School of Law. In her spare

Margaret C. Wilmoth, Ph.D., M.S.S., R.N., F.A.A.N., is Professor of Nursing at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She served as the inaugural Executive Vice Dean & Associate Dean, Academic Affairs in the School of Nursing She was previously the inaugural Dean, Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions, Georgia State University. She retired from the U.S. Army in at the rank of Major General, with her last assignment as Deputy Surgeon General, U.S. Army Reserve in the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Army. She is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Medal, among other awards, and earned the Expert Field Medical Badge.
Her current work is focused on examining health outcomes in military affiliated individuals and veterans who receive care in the civilian sector and working towards the inclusion of key military occupational data in all EHRs, regardless of system of care. A second focus is on achieving education equity for the military child, especially for Reserve-connected children in civilian-centric schools and ensuring adequate and quality programs that address their needs.
