With the same uncompromising force he displayed on the pitch during his glittering career, Roy Keane has spared no-one in his brutal new autobiography.
The forthright ex-Manchester United skipper has reopened old wounds with his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson and given a typically honest account of their acrimonious relationship.
Ferguson landed the first blow last year, by revealing why had had to axe Keane, but now the year-old has had his say, and accused the former United boss of selling him short.
Keane claimed Ferguson and former United chief executive David Gill effectively stitched him up over his departure from the Old Trafford giants, presenting it as a fait accompli.
Keane had become an increasingly fractious presence in the United dressing room, amid rows with Ferguson and his then-assistant Carlos Queiroz, who had decided they had to get rid of him.
