Bridgit Claire Mendler was born in Washington, D.C. on December 18, She moved to San Francisco, California at the age of eight years old. She then grew a passion for acting and began her work in plays. She soon gained notice of an agent at the age of eleven. When she was thirteen she started working in L.A. and signed with a new agent, landing her very first LA and TV role in a popular soap opera, General Hospital.
